Elsie M. Young

Elsie M. Young, 98, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, July 15, 2002 at Morning View Care Center in New Philadelphia following an extended illness.Born in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie Arney Boydletour. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Church of Christ in Canton, the Emma Zimmer Circle and the Daughters of the American Revolution.Her husband, John R. Young, preceded her in death on January 14, 1983. Surviving is two sons, Robert (Marilyn) Young of New Philadelphia and Paul (Beverly) Young of Bolivar; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. A sister is deceased.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at 1:30 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Rev. Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2002 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
