Elsie Beatrice Dillon, 93, of Dover, died November 23, 2006 at Park Village Assisted Living in Dover. Elsie was born on May 3, 1913, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late John and Blanch Carroll. Elsie was baptized at the age of 12 in the Baptist church. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Dover, where she was a band member and enjoyed going on bus trips with her senior friends. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed tri-cycling around town, going camping, cooking big dinners and having family parties with much love. For over thirty years, she was in the 7+1 Canasta Club. For most of her life, Elsie had worked for Dr. Zeller, Dr. Giles, in downtown Grant’s store, and Lafountains.In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Dillon; son, Ronald C. Dillon; sisters, Peggy Indermill, Jeanie Wine; brothers, James Carroll, Cideric Carroll; granddaughter, Mia Tolloti K.; grandsons, David Todd Tolloti, Todd A. Tolloti; son-in-law, Tony Pertrullo.She is survived by her daughters, Jean Petrullo of Dover, Shirley (Larry) Phillabaum of Dover, Carolyn Tolloti Chaney of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Mark (Shelley) Petrullo, Mike Petrullo, Kathy Smith, Jamie Lynn Cole, Marla Cole, Timothy Cole, Christine Morris, Lena Price, Julie (Rick) Papaleo; sister-in-law, Esther Ren, daughter Â?in-law, Marie Dillon; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.There will be no public services and a private family graveside will be held in the Evergreen Burial Park at a later date.Family and friends are invited to send condolences to the family, sign an online guest registry, and view a memorial to Mrs. Dillon by visiting the funeral home’s website.
