Ellen Marie Roseberry

Ellen Marie Grimm-Roseberry, 78, of Tuscarawas, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 5, 2007 at her home.A daughter of the late Silvio and Kathryn (Tolloti) Zorzi, Ellen was born July 3, 1929 at Baltzley Valley.A graduate of Midvale High School, Ellen owned and operated Grimm’s Grocery Store at Midvale with her husband Robert in the 1950’s. She then worked as a bookkeeper at Charles Rewinding before retiring from Hart’s Department Store.She was a member of the Midvale United Methodist Church as well as the Uhrichsville Moose. Ellen enjoyed visiting her neighbors and attending dances at the Moose as well as other lodges around the area.Most of all, Ellen loved her family and could always be heard talking about her grandchildren.She is survived by two sons, Bob (Mary) Grimm of Dennison and Bill (Dixie) Grimm of Tuscarawas; grandchildren, Penny, Ashley, Megan, David and Jeannette; great grandchildren, Anthony, Jeremy, Eric, Maria, Matthew and one on the way; a sister, Maxine Baer of Dennison and many nieces and nephews.Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Robert Grimm and her second husband, Earl Roseberry.Family and friends may call on Friday, November 9, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Ella’s life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Pastor James Huston officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover.
