Ellen E. Wilson

Ellen E. Wilson, 91, of, Dover formerly of Goshen died Sunday morning, December 4, 2005, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover.A daughter of the late Herbert and Wanda Crites Coventry, Ellen was born in Akron, O. on May 10, 1914.She was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, attended Kent State University and graduated from Malone College. She was retired as an elementary teacher with the New Philadelphia schools and had also taught in Barberton and Roswell. Ellen was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia, worked as a secretary for the Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens, and loved to travel. She and her husband also owned and operated the former Huck Wilson Sohio store in Goshen. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Wilson; sisters, Hazel Young, and Pauline Jernigan; and brothers James and Dale Coventry. Ellen is survived by three sisters, Wanda Suntheimer and Carol Briggs, both of Canton and Betty Drayer, of Talmadge; and nieces and nephews.A service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2005, at 10:30 a.m., in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia with Pastor Mike Walters officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home with a church council services at 7:50 p.m. Burial will be at the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Ellen’s memory may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church elevator fund, 202 E.
