Ella Mae Everhart Kohler, 88, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, September 8, 2002 at Morning View Care Center in New Philadelphia.Born in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Emery E. and Nellie Mae Meredith Kinsey. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in New Philadelphia and the Lutheran Church Women. Her husband, Henry A. Kohler, preceded her in death in April 1972. Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie (Jerry) Graham and Alice (James) Whitman both of New Philadelphia; a son, Robert R. (Arvada) Everhart of Berlin; two step-daughters, Sandra (James) McConnell of New Philadelphia and Cindy (Richard) Williams of Garden City, Michigan; two sisters, Marjorie Jule (Warner) Clarke of Newcomerstown and Helen Louise Carothers of Shelby; a brother, Dr. Frank E. Kinsey of Port Lavaca, Texas; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. An infant sister, two brothers and one grandchild are deceased.Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 12, 2002 at 10:30 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Pastor Kenneth G. Hacker officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2002 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West Third Street, Dover, Ohio, 44622.
