Elizabeth V. Krantz

Elizabeth V. Krantz, age 90, of Dover and formerly of Strasburg, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, in New Dawn Health Care Center at Dover. Born at Strasburg on January 13, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Vina A. Schneider. She is survived by two daughters, Vina A. (Gene) Hensel of Strasburg and Karen E. Krantz Weber of New Philadelphia; a son, Joseph P. Krantz and companion Mary Fellers of Strasburg; ten grandchildren, Douglas (Sally) Hensel, Chris (Christine) Hensel, Vina Lynn (Michael) Durbin, Lori (Donald) Crites and William (Erin) Krantz all of Strasburg; Sonya (Timothy) Stein and Greg Weber of Dover; Matt (Michelle) Weber of Uhrichsville; and Jodie (Leo) Zorzi III and Julie Krantz Southard of Atlanta, Ga; twenty great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Krantz.Cremation has been conducted through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. At a later date, the family will hold a private inurnment service in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church, 613 N Tuscarawas Avenue, Dover, Ohio 44622.
