Elizabeth Marie Dennis

Elizabeth Marie Dennis, 67, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, June 17, 2004, in Timken Mercy Medical Center.Elizabeth was born February 24, 1937 in Worcester, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, she married her late husband, Richard Arthur Dennis, Sr. Together with her husband, they raised nine children.Her family will long remember Elizabeth for her delicious baked goods. She also loved to camp with her husband, complete crossword puzzles, and listen to country music.Elizabeth is survived by her nine children, Richard A. (Trina) Dennis of Ft. Pierce, FL, James Dennis of New Philadelphia, Christopher (Tammy) Dennis of New Philadelphia, Jeffrey Dennis of Athol, Massachusetts, Norman (Bonnie) Dennis of Ft. Pierce, FL, Gary Dennis of Ft. Pierce, FL, Christine Dennis of Northbridge, Massachussetts, Catherine Dennis of Auburn, Maine, and Diane Duda of New Hampshire; one brother, Robert (Lynn) DuBrule, of Clinton, Maryland; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Elizabeth’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 23 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry Kidd officiating. Immediately following the service, friends are invited to the Geib Family Center for a light luncheon. Cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory following the service.
