Edward W Aul

Edward W. Aul, age 40, of Wheeling, West Virginia and formerly of Strasburg, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009 at his residence.Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on June 3, 1968, he is the son of William C. and Mary Ellen (Petersheim) Aul, Sr. of Strasburg.After graduating from Dover High School in 1988, he began his professional career most recently working for Wal-Mart.Ed loved taking long walks in his free time. He also greatly enjoyed browsing flea markets.In addition to his parents, Ed is survived by his two step-brothers, Paul (MinCha) Aul of Alabama and Terry Aul of Strasburg; his grandmother, Ada Petersheim of Dover and his dog, Pepper.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Petersheim and two uncles Steve Petersheim and Jerry Obermiller.Visitation will be held in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Thursday, May 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Ed’s life will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 8 beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Legg officiating.
