Edward A. Shanholtz

Edward A. Shanholtz, age 68, of Sherrodsville, Ohio, died peacefully Saturday, April 4, 2009, at his home, his beloved farm.Ed retired from Local 219 Plumbers and Pipe-fitters Union. His many enjoyments in life included working hard, Polka dancing, and being surrounded by his friends and family.He will be deeply missed by his wife Barbara and his lovingly blended family that include; Seann Scarberry, Stephanie Fullem and her companion, Chet, Stacy Breuers and her husband Kevin, Susan Fling and her companion, Steve, Milan Markov and his wife, Diane, and Dale Markov and his wife, Marlene; and a brother, Richard Shanholtz.Ed was a wonderful Grandpa to his sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who he affectionately called his “little people”.The family wishes to thank the angels at Hospice and extend a special thank you to Ed’s friends, Norm Genet and Jim Thomas for their help and support during Ed’s last days.In keeping with Ed’s wishes, his body was cremated through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 1:00 â?? 5:00 PM at the farm; a place where so many memories were made and where Ed lived out his dreams.With sincere gratitude, the family requests that memorial contributions in Ed’s name be made to Hospice of Carroll County, 1040 Trump Rd.
