Edna M. Rainsberg

Edna M. Rainsberg, 80, of New Philadelphia, died Friday, February 22, 2002 at Morning View Care Center in New Philadelphia following an extended illness.Born on February 22, 1922 in Roswell, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Gundy Rennicker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roxford United Methodist Church in Dennison.She is preceded in death by her husband, John Clifford “Cliff’ Rainsberg who died in 1993. Surviving are four sons, Willard (Linda) Rainsberg of Gnadenhutten, Thomas Rainsberg of Uhrichsville, Richard (Donna) Rainsberg of Barnhill and Donald (Jody) Rainsberg of Gnadenhutten; a sister, Mary Chaney of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two sisters and four brothers are also deceased.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Rev. Henry E. Mooney officiating. Burial will be at Holmes Church Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Visitation will be held Monday, February 25, 2002 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
