Edna M. LeMasters, 90, of Dover, died Friday evening at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover after a short illness.Edna was born on March 17, 1914 in North Lawrence, Ohio to the late Ezra and Mary Elizabeth Hackman Hurst.She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia and was also a member of the Tuscarawas County Senior Citizens. Edna also enjoyed taking part in various activities at the Country Club Retirement CampusEdna is survived by three daughters; Patricia Monte of Riverside, FL, Shirley (Merle) King of New Philadelphia and Sandra (Virl) Stalnaker of Perry, OH and one son, Clinton (Kathy) LeMasters of New Philadelphia. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one daughter-in-law, Carol LeMasters of New Philadelphia.In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. LeMasters, who died on January 27, 1984. Also preceding her in death were one son, Wayne LeMasters, one son-in-law, Jim Monte, three brothers and one grandchild.Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2004 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia and then again one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 1:30PM with the Rev. James Taggert and Pastor Virl Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in Ragersville Cemetery.The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 156 Beaver Avenue NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and/or to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West Third Street, Dover, OH 44622.
