Edna Lee Anderson

Edna Lee Anderson, 71, of Dover, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Union Hospital at Dover following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Aaron and Lucy (Dalton) Rizer, Edna was born September 22, 1943 at Dover, Ohio.

Edna was a longtime cook at Boulevard Lanes. She was also a beautician and operated her own salon. Edna also enjoyed crafting and attending craft shows.

She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Mark) Pringle, Lisa (Chad) Troyer and Tina (Shane) Billiter all of Dover; her grandchildren, Autumn, Tara and Colton Pringle, Cory (Abby), Nathan and Courtney Troyer and Brooke and Chance Billiter; her great grandchildren, Caylee and Rylee Conkle and Raiden Randolph; her siblings, Frances (John) Boyd of Mineral City, Kay Sowers of Zoarville, and Tim (Cheryl) Rizer and Brenda (Leroy) Cutshall both of Somerdale and many nieces and nephews.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Anderson who passed away in 1983 and a brother-in-law, George Sowers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A funeral service celebrating Edna’s life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens at Dover. A meal will follow the committal service at the Somerdale Fire Station.
