Edna Fern Emery

Edna Fern Emery, 64, of Dover, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, in Union Hospital at Dover.Born at Dover, Ohio, on September 10, 1942, Edna was the daughter of the late Ernest and Vesta McCartney Rennicker.She was a graduate of Midvale High School, a Homemaker and greatly enjoyed reading, often reading a book a day.She is survived by her husband, Raymond A. Emery, whom she married Sept. 15, 1963; daughters, Kelly Bernhart, Rachael (Michael) Wainscott and Andrea (David) Murray, all of Dover; sisters, Carolyn Sinsel, of Sherrodsville, Mildred Butts and Mary Lou Wallace, both of New Philadelphia; brothers, Burt Rennicker, of Carrollton, Joe Rennicker, of New Philadelphia and Gary Rennicker, of Dover; grandchildren, Brian Bernhart, of Texas, Justin Bernhart, of Dover, Danielle Shoup, of New Philadelphia, Antony Wainscott, of Dover, Hannah Murray, of Dover and Olivia Murray, of Dover; special friends, Marty Emery, of Dover and Patricia Reynolds, of New Philadelphia and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by sisters, Beverly Angel and Shirley Rennicker and brothers, Albert, Wayne, Howard and Dwight Rennicker.In accordance with Edna’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship with Pastor Tom Klasener officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia has been entrusted with her care.
