Edith Mae Delp, 91, of Dover, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 in Schoenbrunn Health Care at New Philadelphia.
A daughter of the late Ervin and Margaret (Canfield) Harmon, Edith was born October 16, 1929 at Cleveland, Ohio.
Edith was a regular visitor of the Tuscarawas County Senior Center as well as to area parks and festivals.
She enjoyed watching western movies, bird watching, coloring and listening to music and in her younger years, crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Boros of Dover; her grandchildren, Joy Hall and Brian (Amy) Hall and Michelle, Matthew and David Wright; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Mandy; a sister, Shirley Janocha and a brother, Bob Harmon.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Delp; her son, Jack Wright and a brother-in-law, Bob Janocha.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Edith’s life will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery.
