Dorothy M. Gasser

Dorothy Gasser, Stone Creek, died in her home on Monday afternoon, June 7, 2004, following a courageous battle with cancer. She would have celebrated her 53rd birthday later this month.Born June 25, 1951, in Dover, OH, Dorothy was a daughter of Dorothy “Boots” Dugan Eichel and the late Robert Eichel.Her life was focused on her family, all of whom will greatly miss her.She is survived by her mother, her husband, Daniel L. Gasser, whom she married January 20, l987; her daughters, Tracy Starkey and Rita (Jeff) Ellis, both of New Philadelphia, and Teia Gasser of the home; grandchildren, Geddy and Jason Starkey, Brittany Grages, Kristie Contini, Corey Contini, and David Richards, Stephanie Ellis and Matthew Ellis; sister, Barb Cannon; brothers, Robert, Donald, and Charles Eichel; grandmother, Julia Dugan, and many nieces and nephews.Friends may call on the family at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory, Thursday, June 10, 2004, from 5 to 8 pm. Services will be conducted by Tim Hatfield in the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 11, 2004, at 10:30 am. Burial will be at St. Jacob’s Cemetery on Angel Valley Road in Stone Creek.
