Dorothy Lou King

Dorothy Lou King, 73, of Navarre, died Monday, November 27, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family.A daughter of the late George Andrew and Alice Irene (Thomas) Wright, Dorothy was born, November 19, 1933 in Canton, Ohio.On October 20, 1951, Dorothy married Roy J. King and together, they raised three children, Dorothy, Cindy and David. Roy passed away on February 13, 1989.Dorothy enjoyed sewing but most of all she loved her family dearly and cherished every moment spent with them.She is survived by her children, Dorothy (Keith) Horrisberger of Navarre, Cindy Kemp of Navarre and David (Cheryl) King of New Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Donald) Keim of Bolivar, Greg (Bobbie) Horrisberger and Chris (Melissa) Horrisberger both of Brewster, Crystal and Tanya King both of New Philadelphia, Jesse Kemp of Navarre and Alura Alexander of Massillon and four great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Matthew and Corey Keim and Trevor Horrisberger.In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and an infant grandson.In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and a graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 3 p.m. in Dover Burial Park at Dover with Rev. Steven Court officiating.
