Dorothy Kent, age 82, of 910 West Main St., Sugarcreek, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at Union Hospital in Dover.Born January 1, 1920, in Bolivar, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Ethel Manuel Lenhart. She was a retired worker from the Amish Flea Market, a member of the Sugarcreek United Methodist Church, and the Lioness of Sugarcreek. She loved gardening and making quilts for her grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Kent.Surviving are a daughter, Christina “Chris” (John) Wisselgren of Navarre; one sister, Deanna Burger of Sugarcreek; three brothers, Robert Lenhart of Coshocton, Elden (Twila) Lenhart of Dover, and Lee (Patsy) Lenhart of Walnut Creek; three grandchildren, Tessa (Ron) Lambert, Kendra (Scott) Strong, and Zachary Wisselgren and friend, Mandy Lester; five great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Michelle, and Ryan Lambert and Trevor and Katelynn Strong.Services will be held Saturday, December 7, at 11 a.m. at the Smith-Geib Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with the Rev. Dairel Kaiser officiating. Friends may call anytime after 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Sugarcreek. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
