Dorothy Brandt

Dorothy A. Brandt, 94, of Dover, died peacefully September 28, 2024, in The Inn at Northwood Village at Dover. 

Born in Crooksville, O. on October 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Goldie M. (Dennis) Hubble.  

On June 4, 1948 at Junction City, Ohio she married the late John Brandt. They shared in nearly 65 years of marriage prior to his passing. 

Dorothy was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the Oldtown Valley. 

She is survived by her two sons, Ned (Susan) Brandt and Donald (Marti) Brandt; four grandchildren, Carri Davey, Josh (Jill) Brandt, Stephanie (Sam) Macio, and Christine (Pat) O’Toole; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madisyn, Jackson, Sophia and Stella. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her four brothers, James, Thomas, Robert and William. 

Private burial will take place in the Stone Creek Cemetery.
