Dorothy A. Partridge-Goodman, 92, of Dover, formerly of New Philadelphia died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at Country Club Retirement Center in Dover. Born March 4, 1911, in Dover, she was the daughter of the late James & Ethel Carroll Taylor. Dorothy worked as a Kindergarten Teacher for the Dover Public School System. Her memberships included the First United Methodist Church in Dover, Woman’s Auxiliary of Union Hospital, Daughter’s of the American Revolution, Business and Professional Women’s Association, College Club, and the Association of Retired Teacher. She was a lifetime member of the Little Theatre and a Charter Member of the Atwood Yacht Club and Dover Historical Society. Dorothy also was a past board member for the Starlight Workshop. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia (Richard) Corbett of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a son, Michael (Kathleen) Partridge of North Canton; sister, Marjorie Schumacher of New Philadelphia; a brother, Robin Taylor of Uhrichsville; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.In addition to her parents, her first husband, Henry J. Partridge who died in 1975; her second husband, Dwight W. Goodman who died in 1986; and three brothers preceded her in death.Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 27, 2003, from 2-5 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home, with Rev. Janice Coffman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Following the Committal Service, a reception will be held at the Geib Family Center, located adjacent to the funeral home.Memorial Contributions may be made to Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County, P.O.
