Doris M. Tolloti, age 82 of New Philadelphia, died early Sunday morning, August 20, 2006, in Union Hospital at Dover. Born at Shanesville, June 1, 1924, Doris was a daughter of the late Noble and Oda Doney Jeandervin. A homemaker her entire life, Mrs. Tolloti will be remembered by her family as a hard working mother, a maker of beautiful quilts, and for her love of her children and grandchildren. A member of the former St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at Roswell, she also attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Doris was also a member of Roswell Senior Citizens. On April 29, 1946, Doris married the late John Tolloti. They spent forty-six years together until his death August 26, 1992. During that time, they reared two sons, Ted Tolloti of New Philadelphia, and John Jr. (wife Elizabeth) Tolloti of Roswell, and a daughter Susan (husband Mark) Ervin also of Roswell. Mrs. Tolloti is also survived by four grandsons, Michael Tolloti of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Christian Ervin (and fiancé Sarah Stein) of Mineral City, Joshua Ervin (wife Casey) of New Philadelphia, Brian Tolloti of Roswell; a granddaughter Angela Tolloti of Roswell, a brother, Joe Jeandervin of Uhrichsville and a sister, Donna (husband Pete) Owens of Nauvo, Alabama. Numerous nieces and nephews complete the family. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by three sisters, Catheryn Baughman, Gladys Griffith, and Helen Boylan, and a brother, Eugene Jeandervin.The Monsignor George J. Schlegel will lead funeral services Tuesday morning, August 22, at 11 AM in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where friends are invited to call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Following the committal service, family and friends will gather for a reception in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home.
