Donna West

Donna West, 63, of Sherrodsville, died Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton following lengthy illness.

A daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Moore) Rothenstine, Donna was born September 7, 1952 at Newcomerstown, Ohio.

Donna was employed by Dr. Daniel W. Peck Dental Office at Uhrichsville, currently known as Twin City Dental Group, and retired after 25 years of service.

Donna cherished the time spent with her family and especially enjoyed taking family vacations.

She is survived by her husband, Gail “Buzz” West whom she married on December 6, 1970; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Jason Johnson of Bolivar; her son, Chad West of Bend, Oregon; two grandchildren, Corey and Seth Johnson; her siblings, Ann (Jim) Tufford of Newcomerstown, Bev (Gene) Peeper of Gilmore, Kenny (Ellen) Rothenstine of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Mary Rothenstine of New Philadelphia, Raymond (Rose) Rothenstine of Warsaw and Harold Rothenstine of Dover and a special friend, Peter Budke of Bend, Oregon

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Doris Moughiman and three brothers, Ed, Bob and Charles Rothenstine.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
