Donna Sue DeSerio

Donna Sue DeSerio, 60, of Uhrichsville, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton, Ohio following a year-long battle with cancer.

A daughter of the late Donald W. Engler and the late Velda M. (DeVore) Kistner, Donna was born August 5, 1955 in Dover, Ohio.

Donna was a graduate of Dover High School.  She was an animal lover who always had dogs and birds as pets.

She is survived by her children, Troy (Stacy) Cordray of Dover and Corinna Yoder of Toledo; two grandchildren, Kirkland and Jillian Cordray; a brother, Rick (Sandra Kay) Engler of New Philadelphia; a niece, Jenny Best of New Philadelphia; two nephews, Richard Engler of Dover and Doug Engler of Columbus and her longtime companion, Chuck Lyons of Uhrichsville.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Chad Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.  A funeral service celebrating Donna’s life will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.  Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will take place in Evergreen Burial Park at a later date.
