Donna Mae Phillips

DONNA M. PHILLIPS, 69, of New Philadelphia, went home to be with her Jesus on Friday, March 1, 2002, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Uhrichsville on June 12, 1932 to the late Ray Franklin and Helen Grace Zumbrunnen Schumacher. Donna was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Most of her life she was devoted to her family by being a wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Donna is survived by her husband, John J., to whom she would have been married 51 years on March 26, 2002; two daughters, Judith Lantzer and Lois (Ken) Wayts, both of New Philadelphia; one granddaughter, Michelle (Pastor Tom) Scott of Lakeville and one great-granddaughter Marissa Mae Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald E. Lantzer. The funeral service will be Monday, March 4, 2002 at 10:30 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Pastor Warren F. Outhwaite, Rev. Jim Spencer and her grandson-in-law, Rev. Tom Scott, officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Moravian Cemetery. Following the cemetery committal, a reception will be given at Broadway United Methodist Church, 120 Church Ave., SE in New Philadelphia. Calling hours will be Sunday (today) from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
