Donna Jarvis

Donna L. Jarvis, age 89, of Strasburg, passed away early Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born on August 27, 1935 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Porter) Eppinger.

Donna enjoyed crocheting and watching sports. Her favorite teams were the Cleveland Guardians, Cavaliers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

On August 29, 1997 she married Nolan Jarvis and together they have enjoyed 27 years of marriage.

She is survived by her husband, Nolan; children, Barry (Sue Ann) Copple, Carmen (Debbie) Copple, and Kim (Marc) Watterson; grandchildren, Matt (Katie) Engstrom, Jamie (Sinceree) Engstrom, Bethany Kamban, Emma Copple, Robbie Copple, Austin Watterson, Marie (Vann) Johnson, Jim Palmer, Danielle Leach, Heather Copple, Jeff (Chrissy) Robinson, Jason (Kristen) Jarvis, and Jayden Jarvis; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, James Eppinger, Charles Eppinger, and Robert Eppinger; and granddaughter, Ashleigh Watterson.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. No services are planned at this time.
