Donna Darlene Demuth

Donna Darlene Demuth, age 75, formerly of Gnadenhutten died peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013, in Country Club Retirement Center at Dover following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Richard and Elsie (Kohler) Robinson, Donna was born in the family’s Wainwright home on February 20, 1938.

She attended the former Tuscarawas High School and was employed by Union Hospital at Dover for 13 years where she worked in the Housekeeping Department.

Donna was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to Country Music.

She is survived by her two children, Tina (Tom) Stocker of Gnadenhutten, and Fred (Angie) Demuth of New Philadelphia; six siblings, Judy (Red) Gold of Uhrichsville, Dixie (Rich) Dunn of Mineral City, Sharon (Dan) Kalp of Tuscarawas, Tim (Carla) Robinson of New Philadelphia, Debbie (Mac) Maher of Dover, and Randy Robinson of Tuscarawas.

Completing the family are 11 grandchildren, Kylee (Grant), Braden, Quinn, Todd, Frankie, Alex, Greg (Sara), Sammy, Brianna, Tasha (Justin) and Dustin; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick R. Demuth; three brothers, Dick, Bob, and George Robinson and a sister, Brenda Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Rev. Hugh Berry will lead a memorial service celebrating Donna’s life in the funeral home’s Chapel on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Inurnment in the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery will follow.
