Donald V. Kurzinsky

Donald V. Kurzinsky, 70, of Mineral City, formerly of Canton, O., died Friday, September 9, 2005 at Union Hospital in Dover.A son of the late Victor and Mary Logston Knight, Don was born January 11, 1935 in Canton, O.He retired from Republic Engineered Steel in Canton in 1998 following 45 years of service with Republic Steel, LTV steel, and Republic Engineered Steel. Don served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1953 till 1956. He enjoyed woodworking and coin collecting.He is survived by his wife Carol Ann, whom he married on November 18, 1957; two daughters, Mary Ellen (Dan) Flickinger, of Massillon and Kelly (Bob) Osler, of Canton,; two sons, Steve Kurzinsky, of Mineral City and David (Kim) Kurzinsky, of New Philadelphia; sisters, Mary (Bob) Shipman, of Minerva, and Nancy Begue, of Canton; brother, Bob Kurzinsky, of Canton; eight grandchildren and a great grandson.He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Joe Kurzinsky.Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2005 from 5 till 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating.
