Donald Rudolph Marinelli

Donald R. Marinelli, 89, of Hennis Care Center in Dover, passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2014.

Born in New Philadelphia on November 1, 1925, he was the son of the late James C. and Virginia (Mendini) Marinelli.

Don honorably served his country in the United States Navy. His professional career as a surveyor spanned a number of years with Ben Cookson, Inc. Don also owned his own roofing company.

His family includes his brother, Robert Marinelli of New Philadelphia; his sister-in-law, Mary Marinelli of New Philadelphia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lewis and James Marinelli, Zola (Robert) Miller and Kate Marinelli; a half-brother, Leo Marinelli; and his nephew, Cook Marinelli.
Private graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
