Donald Raymond Mills

Donald Raymond Mills, age 66, of New Dawn at Dover, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

A son of Dorthy (Shai) Mills of New Philadelphia and the late Lowell R. Mills, Don was born in Union Hospital at Dover on March 18, 1947.

Don was a 1965 graduate of Dover High School and worked for the former Henry Adhesives at Dover for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his flower gardens as well as reading.

Additionally, Don was a member of the First Christian Church at Dover and had also shared his spiritual time through his attendance at New Philadelphia First Christian Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a cousin Jerry (wife, Cynthia) Ryan of Massillon.

The family will receive friends one half hour prior to services on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 12:30 – 1:00 PM in the Linn Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where Pastor Jim Borton will lead a service celebrating Don’s life at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Dover Burial Park. Following services, all are invited to share in a meal and fellowship in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the New Philadelphia funeral home.
