Donald Kirkpatrick

Donald Foster Kirkpatrick, age 80 of Carrollton, died early Thursday, September 29, 2016, surrounded by his family, while in the care of Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born at Hollloway, Ohio, on September 11, 1936, Donald was a son of the late William and Lois (Hufnagel) Kirkpatrick.

Donald married the former Audrey Braken on June 16, 1956. He retired from Atmosphere Annealing, Inc. He enjoyed mowing, gardening, and fishing and doing anything he could to be outdoors.

Donald is survived by his wife, his children, Jeff (Julie) Kirkpatrick of Carrollton, Lisa Kaiser-Byrd of Denver, CO, Gerald Kirkpatrick of Bolivar, Dale (Jane) Kirkpatrick of Toronto, OH, Denita (Todd) Zorger of Carrollton, Lydia (Donald) Lucas of Carrollton, and Amy (James) Gilland of New Wilmington, PA; a brother, Dean Kirkpatrick of Carrollton, 23 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by six siblings.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation has been cared for by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.

Memorial contributions in Donald’s name may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
