Donald L. Gopp

Donald L. “Don” Gopp, 85, of Dover, passed away at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover on August 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Donald Raymond and Mildred Fern (Kaiser) Gopp.

After high school graduation, Don earned his bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University. Don owned D.L. Gopp and Associates where he was a successful corporate recruiter. He was also an avid Ohio State football fan, loved tending to his yard, and enjoyed driving cars for the auction.

On May 11, 1992, he married his loving wife, Kay Ann (Miles) Gopp of Dover. Together, they were members of Dover Bible Church. 

Don is survived by his wife, Kay of Dover; his children, Deborah Gopp of Florida, Suzanne (Don Clark) Gopp of Columbus and Brett Gopp of Columbus; granddaughter, Natalie Stromack; siblings, Margene McCune, Dianne Schilling and brother-in-law, Chuck Lauver; and step-children, Beth, Lezli, Marci (Brad) and Christine.

Private burial will be held in the Dover Burial Park.
