Donald Eugene White

Donald Eugene White, 64, of Dover, died early Sunday morning, December 18, 2022, in Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital following many years of declining health.

Born on March 20, 1958, he was the son of Rebecca Sue (Carpenter) White and the late Gene D. White.

After graduating from Dover High School, Don lived in Memphis for 22 years before relocating back to Dover. He most recently worked for ADT Security as an installer.

Don was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling to car shows. He owned a Ford Mustang and won many ribbons and trophies in shows over the years. Additionally, he was a former band member where he played the bass guitar, and toured with Mike Albert and the Big E band.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sue (Harper Mellott) White of Dover; his nephew, Spencer Bair; and numerous friends.

In addition to his father, Don was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Lee Carpenter and his paternal grandparents, Gladys and Jewell White; and sister, Debra “Debbie” White.
