Don R. Staley Jr.

Don R. Staley Jr. 55, of Dover, died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home.

A son of the late Don R. and Anna Mae (Free) Staley, Don was born January 18, 1957 at Dover, Ohio.

Don graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1976 and he retired this past March from Commercial Honing at Dover. He was an avid golfer and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his son Don R. Staley III of New Philadelphia and his fiancé, Ann Bryan; his siblings, Tim (Sue) Staley of Canton and Lynne Currithers and Todd Staley both of Clearwater, Florida; many nieces and nephews; his former wife, Robin Staley of New Philadelphia; his former mother-in-law, Dorothy Waller of New Philadelphia and many dear friends.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover and a memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
