Diane Louise Meek

Diane L. Meek, 51, of Mineral City, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the Hennis Care Ctr. of Bolivar following a lengthy illness.She was born November 1, 1952 at Front Royal, VA. to Fred A. and Jane R. (Cooper) Manuel, and was a member of the Mineral City Church of the Nazarene and the Mineral City Parent Teacher Association.She is survived by husband Donald C. Meek, Jr.; whom she married October 4, 1980, a daughter, Martha A Carling, of Coshocton, a son, Jack (Rose) Carling, of Uhrichsville, a sister, Linda Jane Patierno, of Florida, grandchildren, Shawnna, Nicole, Terri, and Jack Jr. Carling and friend and caregiver, Kathy Balan, of Bolivar.She was preceded in death by her mother.A funeral service will be held 3:00PM, Sunday, June 13, 2004 at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory of New Philadelphia with Pastor Fred Blauser officiating. Friends and family are invited to visit Sunday from 2:00PM till 3:00PM at the funeral home. Those unable to attend may visit an on line memorial at the funeral home’s website. In accordance with Diane’s wishes cremation will follow the service with burial of her cremated remains at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas Co. or the American Cancer Society.
