Diane G. Lulas

Diane G. Vianos Lulas, 85, of Dover, died peacefully Sunday morning, December 12, 2004, in Bedford Medical Center at Bedford, O.Born on the Isle of Crete, Greece, January 8, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George and Sophia Vianos. Together with her husband, Michael G. Lulas, who died less than a month ago on November 21, she was a restauranteur for more than sixty years. Most recently, the couple had owned and operated Michael’s Restaurant in New Philadelphia.Survivors include three children and their spouses, John and Linda Lulas of Bedford, O, Mary Ann and Ron Welding of Reston, VA, and Andrew Lulas of Dover. Father Constantine Shiepis will lead a funeral ceremony celebrating the lives of Diane and Michael Lulas in the Chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Monday, December 20, 2004 at 11 AM.Burial of Diane’s remains alongside those of her husband will follow at Dover Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions in remembrance of Diane and Michael Lulas may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
