Dian Nemitz

Dian D. Nemitz, 77, of Dover, passed away September 1, 2024 in her home after a period of declining health. Born August 7, 1947, she was the only child of the late John D. and Florence J. “Betty” (Levengood) Thomas.

Throughout Dian’s life she enjoyed crafts and practicing her artistic talents. She was accomplished in painting with watercolors. She also used her talents in decorating her homes by painting the woodwork. She also made greeting cards. But her greatest achievement in life was being a wife, mother, and friend.

She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jason and Aman Nemitz of Ft. Myers, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dian was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Eugene “Gene” Nemitz.

The family will greet guests on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at 5600 N. Wooster Ave., Dover. A service celebrating Dian’s life will be led by Pastor Jason Rissler and will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
