Dennis Allen German

Dennis Allen German, 59, of Dover, passed away July 31, 2019, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland.

Born December 18, 1959 in Dennison, he was the son of the late Donald R. and Nona Lee (Funkhouser) German, Sr.

He worked most of his life driving forklifts at Express Packaging, then later as shipping manager at IPS Marketing in Millersburg. He retired in 2012, and worked at home with his wife on their online ebay store or watching his grandchildren.

When not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family or riding his beloved motorcycle. He looked forward each year to riding in the Teddy Bear run with friends and family members.

He is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter, Tina (Brian) Lenarz; two sons, Robert (Ashley) German and Michael German; six grandchildren, Dalton and Dylan Edwards, Korey Grace, Zack and Karter Marie German and Gavin Krasky; brother, Donald German and companion Tracy Yonley; sisters, Debbie Smith, Donna (Dean) Miller, Darla (Doug) Truman and Valerie (Marion) Halloway.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ivy; and his brother, David Michael.

In keeping with his wishes, not public visitation or services are scheduled. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation care will be handled through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
