Denise L. Thompson

Denise L. Thompson, 60, of Carrollton, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

A daughter of Lorraine Bennett and the late Ralph Bennett, Denise was born October 12, 1953 in Canton, Ohio.

Denise was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She also cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, James Thompson whom she married on November 2, 1974; a daughter, Tonya (Robert) Brannon and a son, Chad (Michelle) Thompson both of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Kate, Noah, Brookelyne, Jason, Miley, Ella and Matthew; two brothers, James Bennett and Bill (Barb) Bennett both of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Denise was preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Christian Brannon; her grandparents, Herman and Elizabeth Schuler and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thelma and Thomas Thompson.

In keeping with Denise’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
