Delores Ann Leone

Delores Ann Leone, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2011 at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover at the age of 83.She was born December 30, 1927 in Roswell, O. to the late Angelo and Santina (Mozoch) Peroni. She was married to Alexander Leone, who preceded Delores in death on March 28, 1970.Delores was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She loved to dance, play bingo and spend time with her family. She will always be remembered for her delicious meals she cooked. Delores will be deeply missed by her children; Jessie (Rick) Miller of New Philadelphia, Mary (Jeff) Pendel of Portersville, Pennsylvania, Diane (Kenny) Musselman of Wooster, and Frank (Ruth) Leone of New Philadelphia, her step-son; Bruce Leone of Michigan, her step-daughter; Nina (Bill) Henry of Arizona, and her grandchildren; Tracey Stratton, Jason Miller, Dawn Leone, and Dan Leone, all of New Philadelphia, Genesee Jones of Indiana, Ashley Pendel, Scott Pendel, and Hillary Pendel, all of Portersville, PA and Alex Musselman of Wooster; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by her son; Sonney Eugene Leone, one step-daughter; Myrna Chadwick, and her sisters; Mary Furniss and Esther Baker.Delores’ family is grateful to Country Club Retirement Campus, the Union Hospital, and Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County for the wonderful care that was given to Delores. There will be no public calling hours. A private family service will be held.
