Debra Sue White, age 51, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully early Tuesday morning, April 1, 2008, following a lengthy illness. Born on December 17, 1956, Debbie was a daughter of Rebecca Sue Carpenter White of Dover and the late Gene D. White.Growing up Debbie enjoyed being part of 4-H and also found pleasure in horseback riding and being outdoors.She also enjoyed spending time at the YMCA and was active on both the swim and diving teams.Debbie attended Dover High School and completed her education as a beautician from the former Buckeye Joint Vocational School. She later went on to obtain her manager’s license.As a child, Debbie enjoyed golfing and it became a life-long passion. As part of a summer league later in life, she accomplished what most golfers only dream of; “a hole in one”.Being a baptized believer in Christ, Debbie was active in the Church of Christ at New Philadelphia for many years until her recent illness would no longer allow her participation.For the past several years, Debbie worked for Kimble Mixer Company where her duties included payroll and scheduling the delivery of new trucks to locations across the country.Debbie’s warm personality and love for life will be missed by her family which includes her mother, Sue White of Dover, a brother, Don White also of Dover; a son, Spencer Bair of New Philadelphia and her grandchildren, Spencer L. Bair and Cadence Bair.Additionally, Debbie will be missed by her fiancé, Jeff Korns of New Philadelphia and his children, Rachel, Joe, Ben, and Kris Korns.Besides her father, Debbie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Beatrice and Lee Carpenter and her paternal grandparents Gladys and Jewell White. The family will receive guests on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 2:00PM â?? 4:00PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. The Rev.
