Deborah Ann “Debbie” Davis, 57, of Dundee and formerly of Dover, passed away on January 8, 2025, after an apparent heart condition, which led to an automobile accident.
Born in Dover on August 4, 1967, Debbie was the daughter of Sandra F. (Winkler) Daley of Dover and the late Dewey D. Daley. A proud 1985 graduate of Dover High School, she was well known as a spirited cheerleader.
Debbie spent much of her career at Shanesville Drive-Thru, where she became a beloved figure to both patrons and fellow employees alike. Her warm spirit and dedication were a hallmark of her work life.
At home, Debbie found peace and joy. Her husband, Sam, planted beautiful flowers around their home, giving her a peaceful view from every window. She also cherished spending time at their pool, creating lasting memories with loved ones. Her deep affection for her pets brought her great comfort, and she took great pride in caring for them, ensuring they led long and healthy lives.
A frequent visitor to the Dover Library, Debbie had a love for reading and was particularly interested in couponing, where she continually honed her skills.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Samuel Davis, whom she married on October 25, 2002; her mother, Sandy Daley of Dover; her brothers, Tim and Tony Daley, both of New Philadelphia; her niece, Megan; mother-in-law, Joan Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brinley (Anita), Donn (Halona) Davis and Andrea (Mark) Malcuit; and nieces and nephews, Moe, Abi, Jonathan, Henry, Elizabeth and Hopper.
In addition to her father, Dewey Daley, Debbie was preceded in passing by her father-in-law, W. G. Davis; and nephew, Zachary Davis.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Geib Funeral Center in Dover.
In honor of Debbie’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Dover Library, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover, OH 44622.
