Debbie S. Dalton, 53, of New Philadelphia, died in her home on Thursday, August 1, 2002 of a heart attack.
Debbie was born February 5, 1949 in Williamson, West Virginia to Howard L. and Billie Faye Bryant Davis and graduated from Mullins High School in Mullins, WV in 1967.
A 24-year resident of New Philadelphia, Debbie worked at Park Honda South as an office assistant. She was skilled and meticulous in her crocheting talents and enjoyed flower gardening. Debbie loved animals and shared her life with her three cats, “Pookie”, “Lady”, and “Paisley”.
She is survived by her son, Lantz Brook Dalton, III of Tampa, Florida her daughter, Ella Suzanne Dalton of Tucson, Arizona; parents, Howard and Billie F. Davis of New Philadelphia; and her sister, Janie (Ron) Aisenbrey of Greensboro, North Carolina; aunts, Ruth (Burl) Blackburn of Charleston, West Virginia and Marie “Cho” Mason of Williamsburg, Virginia; and an uncle, Cecil (Jean) Davis of Statesville, North Carolina.
A funeral service will be held in New Philadelphia on Monday, August 5, 2002 at 2:30 PM. Another funeral will be Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at 11:00 AM in the Weaver Mortuary in Williamson, with burial to follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Maher, West Virginia. Calling hours will be in the mortuary on Tuesday one hour prior to the funeral, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
