Debbie Bowden

DEBBIE BOWDEN, 42, died Monday evening, October 7, 2002, in her New Philadelphia home. She was born in Cincinnati on May 2, 1960 to the late Lorne and Carol Easterday White. Debbie graduated from Batavia High School in Batavia. For eleven years she was a pre-school teacher for the HARCATUS Head Start program, most recently with the Campus Child Development Center at the Kent State University’s New Philadelphia campus. Debbie attended the First Christian Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed camping, sporting events, working with children, and spending time with family and friends. Debbie is survived by her husband and daughter, Tom, whom she married March 24, 1979, and, Kris M., both of the home; a sister, Lori Heflin of Milford; a niece and a nephew. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kirk White. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2002 from 12:30 to 2:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Burial Park.
