Dean L. Huebner

March 25, 1937 — January 13, 2003

Dean L. “Frenchy” Huebner, 65, of Dennison, died Monday, January 13, 2003 at Twin City Hospital in Dennison. Born in Uhrichsville, he was the son of the late Francis and Blanche Gram Huebner and owned and operated Frenchy’s Fab Shop Inc. in Dover. He was a life member of the Tusco Rifle Club in Midvale, a member of the former Midvale V.F.W., loved woodworking and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved attending NASCAR races and also watching them on T.V.Surviving is his wife, the former Gladys J. Phillips, who he married February 13, 1960; two daughters, Annette Huebner of New Philadelphia and Donna “Jeano” (Ed) Boydston of Brewster; two sons, Jaimie (Ruth) Huebner of Tappan Lake and Greg (Angela) Huebner of Dennison; a sister, Donna Stahl of Tuscarawas; a brother, Vernon Huebner of New Philadelphia; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A sister, Charlene Huebner, is also deceased.Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2003 at 10:30 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Rev. Mike Foran officiating. Burial will be at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. A reception will be held in the Geib Family Center following the committal service. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2003 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
