David Williamson

David R. Williamson, age 65 of Uhrichsville died Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 in Trinity Twin City Hospital at Dennison following a lengthy illness.

A son of Dorothy (Moon) Williamson of Walnut Creek and the late Rev. Carl Williamson, Dave was born at Akron, Ohio on August 19, 1948.

A graduate of Tallmadge High School, Dave worked for Parker-Hannifin at Akron as a machine operator for 34 years prior to his retirement in 2011.

He married the former Alice F. Sanner on August 6, 1980. Out of their union their daughter was born in July of 1982. He was a loving, dedicated and devoted son, husband, father and grandfather.

In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars, going on walks, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and wife of 33 years, Dave will be dearly missed by his daughter Roxann (Hershel) Hyde of Uhrichsville; two grandsons, Draco and Hershel, and two brothers Albert (Sue) Williamson of Texas and Mark (Tammy) Williamson of North Carolina.

Completing the family are two brothers-in-law, John (Cindy) Sanner of Quaker City, Ohio and Joe (Jackie) Sanner of Gnadenhutten as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Dave has been reunited with his brother Terry L. Williamson.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no public visitation to services. Cremation has taken place through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.

“We love you, and we will miss you. May you forever watch over us in the Kingdom of Heaven until we are again reunited.”
