David Joseph Tristano, Sr., 79, of Dover, passed away May 30, 2014 in his home following some health complications.
Born in Dover on June 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Rosa (Goffoli) Tristano.
After completing his formal education at Dover High School, he began his professional career working in the Zenmark brickyard in Parral where he was employed for 27 years.
David was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and in his younger years, enjoyed playing softball and golf.
In 1960, David married his lifelong companion and friend, the former Mary C. Cox, of Dover. He also is survived by his sons, Michael Tristano of Dover and David (Blodwyn) Tristano of North Canton; his grandchildren, Tasha, David, Mia, and Marissa; his dog, Lacy; and his siblings, Ernest Tristano, Shirley (James) Contini, Richard Tristano and Louis Tristano, all of Dover, and James Tristano of New Philadelphia.
David’s mass intention will be Sunday, June 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover. Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
