David Robinson

David Robinson, 62, of Gnadenhutten passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Akron City Hospital.

A son of Charlie and the late Marie (Boles) Robinson, David was born August 16, 1955 in Twin City Hospital at Dennison.

David graduated from Indian Valley North High School in 1975. He went on to work in the plant at Lauren Manufacturing for more than 38 years. He was a member of the Tuscarawas County Pool League for more than 33 years, serving as its treasurer at one time. He enjoyed visiting the New River Gorge in West Virginia, as well as fishing and kayaking. David also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren play sports.

In addition to his father, David is survived by his three children, Bobbie (Brian) Trolio and David Robinson of New Philadelphia, and Casey Robinson of Gnadenhutten; three grandchildren, Anthony Trolio and Kamden and Rylee Wright; two sisters, Tina (Don) Liedtke and Margaret (Chris) Ruegsegger; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Erma (Mildred) Robinson and Forrest and Nellie Boles.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5 to 7 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A service celebrating his life will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home’s chapel.
