David L. Applegarth

David L. Applegarth, Sr., 51, of Magnolia, died Monday, November 14, 2005 at Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. A son of the late Charles and Mae (Bethel) Applegarth, David was born May 13, 1954 in Dover, Ohio.David served two years in the United States Marine Corps from 1973 to 1975. He was a master technician of boats and motors at Beavers Marine Store and he will be greatly missed by his customers and fellow workers.A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by his family.He is survived by his loving wife, Tina (Mays) Applegarth; his children, Pam Applegarth, David (Nadeane) Applegarth, Jr., Renee (Lawrence) Mick, and Melinda (Mike) Huff, Sr.; 10 grandchildren, his sisters, Kathy (William) Pompey, Belinda (Paul) Kies, Carol (Joe) Smith and Tammy (Nicole) Applegarth, one step-brother, Gary Applegarth, his mother-in-law, Elizabeth (James) Boord, and many other family members which include his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.A service honoring David’s life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 4 p.m. at the Chapel at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Visitation will be held on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the family at 1125 Magnolia Road NW, Magnolia, OH 44643.
