David Jerry Ayers

David J. Ayers, 75, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his home.A son of the late Charles Ayers and Wilma Waltz, David was born December 23, 1935 at Dover, Ohio.He is survived by his children, Todd Ayers and Robin (Ray) Kail-Mahaffey both of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Amber Stein of New Philadelphia, Benjamin Kail of Dover, Cory (Kathie) Ayers, Danielle Ayers and Zachary Ayers all of New Philadelphia; three great grandchildren, Kelby and Gavyn Stein and Daniel Ayers; a brother, Rick and sister, Nancy both of Florida.David was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jamie Ayers.In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of his daughter, 361 5th Street NW, New Philadelphia.Memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Dog Pound, 1751 Tech Park Drive NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
