David Heil

David Richard Heil, age 72 of Frankfort, Kentucky, died peacefully, Friday, November 10, 2023, while in Bradford Square Nursing Home at Frankfort, following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Bernard and Eileen Stephon Heil, David was born in Union Hospital at Dover on November 19, 1950.

He was a 1968 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and attended Columbus Business University. He worked in various hospitals as an orderly for nearly 30 years prior to his retirement in 2001.

David was an avid sports fan who also enjoyed the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

He is survived by his family; a brother, Keith (Lori) Heil of Frankfort, Kentucky; a nephew, Brian (Janelle) Heil of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; a niece, Amber (Rick) Henninger of Dublin, Georgia; and his great-nieces and nephews, Elijah, Maliah, and Jason.

In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation care will take place. The family will hold a graveside service on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia, Ohio with Fr. Jeff Coning officiating.
