David G. Lones

David G. Lones, 62, of Dundee, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Pomerene Memorial Hospital at Millersburg following an extended illness.

A son of the late Donald W. Lones and the late Bonnie (Gray) Harding, David was born May 23, 1951 at Bakersfield, California.

David was a 1969 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. While his health permitted him to do so, he enjoyed being in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and he made custom hunting knives.

He is survived by his wife, Deb (Miller) Lones whom he married on September 5, 1973; his brothers, Dan (Marcia) Harding of Dover and Dennis (Danette) Harding of North Canton; an aunt, Ginny (Ronald) Bevan of New Philadelphia and many other extended family members.

In addition to his father and mother, David was preceded in death by his step father, Paul Harding.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating David’s life will follow in the funeral home at 5 p.m with Celebrant Nathan Douglas officiating. Following the service, a time of fellowship and meal will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
